This year for Grandma Hollfelder’s birthday, the family came over to my parents house for a delicious dinner of spaghetti, steak and lobster (Mmmm….pinchy). Oh yeah, and chocolate cake with whip cream frosting.
Jeffery brought in the cake while the family sang Happy Birthday (the first of several renditions)
Then Grandma blew out the candles (and had a near miss with one of the candle flames)…
This year, we gave Grandma a miniature Christmas tree with each family member giving her a handmade ornament. After opening her presents, Grandma took some time to take pictures with us (Robyn, me, Uncle Greg and Tessa).
So this is an absolutely crazy picture. I remember when Michael was just a baby and it honestly seems like yesterday. He’s now almost 16, driving and has three younger sisters who are also growing up faster than I can keep track of. From left to right is: Michael, Tessa, Robyn and Jeena.
So not exactly sure what the fascination was with this box but apparently both Tessa and Robyn were able to fit into it. I was going to try myself but then figured that Grandma probably wouldn’t appreciate me blowing out the sides of her Christmas tree box. 😉
And finally, a picture of Robyn and me.
